The JAZZ 5AX is a universal 5-axis machining center capable of meeting all high-dynamic and highly complex process machining requirements. It is available in three models: JAZZ R, JAZZ M, and JAZZ L. The base frame is made of DMP material specifically designed for milling machines, which is a composite material casting with damping vibration and high performance. (DMP: a new type of mineral casting, currently used in advanced machine tool production in Europe.) Two types of worktables are designed on the machine base, one is a fixed worktable, and the other is a cradle-type rotary worktable (C+B axis). The slide saddle carrying the column is mounted on the linear guide rails of the base, and the X and Y-axis movements are achieved by a transmission system composed of ball screws and guide rails. The spindle (optional with an electric spindle) is installed on the slide box bracket of the Z-axis and again uses a ball screw structure for movement. This model does not have a balancing cylinder, ensuring the dynamic performance of the machine at high speeds. A safety brake is installed at the upper end of the ball screw to ensure the safety performance of the Z-axis. The tool magazine is fixed on the side of the machine column. The working area of the machine is protected by a stainless steel inner guard.
